DTR Investments was built for one reason: because the traditional path — go to school, get a job, work for 40 years — doesn't work for everyone. And for a lot of us, it never did. LaKesha Gage started DTR after spending five years in a job that paid well but drained everything else. The breaking point came when it became hard to get out of bed to go to work each morning. That's when the real work began — not the 9-to-5 kind, but the kind that actually builds something worth keeping.
